In light of the pandemic, we will be requiring vaccine passports and asking participants to fill out a contact tracing sheet before the event starts. Furthermore, we ask that participants please be courteous of galleries protocols including wearing masks indoors and sanitizing hands upon entry.
Land Acknowledgement:
We would like to acknowledge that this event is taking place on unceded Indigenous lands. We are on the traditional territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Ga-niyeon-ge-haa-ga). This island that we call Montreal is known as Tiohtiá:ke (Joh-jah-gae) in the language of the Kanien’keha:ka and has historically served as a meeting place for other Indigenous nations, which today, is home to a diverse population of peoples. We acknowledge the continued connections with this colonialist past as reflected in the present ongoing experiences of Indigenous peoples within the Montreal community. We believe it is crucial to be informed on past and ongoing consequences of colonialism, and we encourage everyone to learn about the history of the land we live on.
